{"id":11336,"date":"2023-10-26T15:13:41","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T19:13:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sim-pilot.com\/?p=11336"},"modified":"2023-10-26T15:13:41","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T19:13:41","slug":"a-popular-destination-for-new-orleans-marine-pilots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sim-pilot.com\/en\/a-popular-destination-for-new-orleans-marine-pilots\/","title":{"rendered":"A Popular Destination for New Orleans Marine Pilots"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the third time this year, the MSRC welcomed a group of New Orleans pilots (Crescent River Port Pilots\u2019 Association) for 5 days of training in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bridge Resource Management for Pilots (BRM-P)<\/span> and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">emergency shiphandling<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cAccredited by the American Pilots\u2019 Association (APA), the MSRC is the only training centre in Canada authorized to offer the BRM-P course. We are honoured that this group of pilots decided to place their trust in the MSRC despite the distance and time required to travel to Quebec City,\u201d comments MSRC\u2019s director Paul Racicot. \u201cSince 2006, the MSRC has trained 400 Canadian pilots, pilots from several American groups and all the pilots from Trinidad.
