The Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du parc industriel et portuaire de B\u00e9cancour (SPIPB) will undertake a major redevelopment of its port to meet the growing needs of companies located in the industrial park. The project represents a total investment of nearly $328 million, funded equally by the federal government\u2014through Transport Canada\u2019s National Trade Corridors Fund\u2014and the provincial government.<\/p>\n

For this project, SPIPB\u2019s management enlisted the Maritime Simulation and Resource Centre (MSRC) to conduct a series of simulations aimed at assessing the impacts on vessel maneuvering, in collaboration with pilots from the Corporation of Mid St. Lawrence Pilots (CPSLC).<\/p>\n
