Congratulations to our pilot trainers and instructors, who welcomed five groups of pilots from the Mississippi Crescent River Port Pilots’ Association for BRM-P and maneuvering (Advanced and Emergency) training. Judging by the pilots’ feedback, the MSRC team rose to the occasion.

• Good to have a pilot perspective as teacher. This was the best experience with a BRM-P class.
• Pilot teaching BRM-P class had a great amount of experience and real-world experience.
• Very engaging instructors. Instructors are top-notch.
• Enjoyed the instructor’s presentation, both the BRM-P and on the training on simulator.
• Very good instructors and programs.
• Instructor was very helpful and willing to change exercises to situations we asked for.
• Great conversation with an active pilot. Good transfer of information.
• Excellent job having a pilot instruct the BRM-P course. It’s hard to have a non-pilot have the perspective of a pilot.

Crescent River has already booked five more weeks of training for 2026.
