The MSRC was solicited by a group of pilots to develop an ECDIS e-Navigation course for pilots. The resulting training course is compliant with the American Pilot Association navigation technology committee’s guidelines and recommendations.

This week, MSRC’s instructors gave the course for the first time to a group of pilots from Houston and were joined by the American Pilots’ Association’s President Jorge Viso.

The pilots provided positive feedback regarding the content of the course and expressed their belief that it will become very popular within the maritime piloting industry.
