The MSRC is proud to have conducted the feasibility study for the maritime terminal construction project in Contrecœur recently approved by the federal government. As with the Rio Tinto project announced last week, the MSRC carried out simulations to confirm that ship manoeuvring at the new terminal could be done in a safe manner.

It is reassuring to note that port authorities and other stakeholders in the Quebec maritime industry attach as much importance to navigational safety and environmental protection. Simulation plays an essential role in establishing the parameters that will ensure the proper execution of operations.
