26 August 2024

Every year, the MSRC conducts a two-week technical shutdown to maintain and update its simulator. During this period, a Kongsberg Digital manufacturing specialist updates all the simulator’s software, applications, and hardware, allowing the MSRC to keep pace with the latest advances in simulation technology and applications, and offer its users the ultimate in maritime training.

The MSRC has selected the Premium Customized Care, which offers the highest level of support available and proactive collaboration from Kongsberg to continuously develop its simulation system.

“ The MSRC boasts one of the world’s most comprehensive ranges of simulation equipment, cutting-edge technological tools, and expert knowledge in marine pilotage. The MSRC is one of the few facilities where three tugboat simulators and a complete large ship simulator can interact simultaneously in an extended exercise or scenario covering all aspects of navigation. ” explains Captain Garland Hardy, President of Lantec Marine Inc.
