MSRC’s own in-house specialists develop specific ship models
2025
Client(s) : AET Inc Limited, Robert Allan Ltd. and KOTUG Canada, Seamen’s Church Institute
For feasibility studies and when a high level of accuracy and resolution is required (shallow waters, confined navigation, and close-quarters operations between vessels), the MSRC develops its own ship models, which are then tested and approved by experienced pilots. MSRC ship models include complete modeling of the engines, generators, and steering system.
These models allow for the integration of issues such as engine and rudder failures, power outages, etc. Each model is accompanied by comprehensive documentation detailing the vessel’s characteristics and presenting the results obtained during the execution of all IMO standard maneuvers.
